Senior Python Engineer

We are looking for Senior Python Engineer.

• You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of digital and fintech projects, specifically focusing on user and card lifecycle services, such as card issuance, integrations with digital wallets, KYB/KYC processes, and production of physical cards.
• Your daily duties will include designing, building, and deploying new functionalities, ensuring high availability and reliability of APIs (gateway, SDK), and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to establish and maintain consistent engineering standards.
• You will implement best engineering practices for API development, continuously seek process and system improvements, and participate in the on‑call rotation to support critical services.
• The technology stack is primarily Python, with a growing focus on Rust.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying software in a production environment in Python.
• Ability to lead projects as well as contribute individually.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, Rust.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Interest in fintech or payments is a plus.
• Availability to work in the US Eastern Time Zone (New York).
