ITnova is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for an on‑site role in Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate will lead the development and maintenance of .NET applications, contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, and provide advanced technical expertise in building scalable, high‑quality solutions.
Responsibilities- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Learn and apply .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and other relevant frameworks.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.
- Collaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure application quality and stability.
- Stay updated on the latest .NET technologies and industry best practices.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience using languages such as .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages.
- Will train in Microsoft technologies.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline.
- Familiarity with .NET frameworks or other programming languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining web applications using C# and the .NET Framework (version 4.8 or newer).
- Experience designing and implementing MVC5+ architecture for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Ability to build and consume Web Services and Web APIs effectively.
- Solid understanding of for data access and manipulation.
- Expertise in designing and developing web pages, including integration using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries, functions, stored procedures and managing databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer.
