Coming from a fresh $21M Series A round of funding we are looking for exceptional candidates to help us build a category‑defining company. We are a fully distributed, remote‑first team with employees across the US.

Wisdom is hiring Staff Software Engineers to join our tech team and play an instrumental role in the early stages of our product. In this role, you’ll build and iterate on our AI‑enabled products, partnering closely with a small team of engineers and writing code across both the front‑ and backend. Wisdom’s tech stack is Node and React in Typescript, with a Postgres database, and hosted in AWS.

• Build software from the ground up in a fast‑paced environment, and iterate on existing products as they launch
• Work across the stack, from designing database schemas to deploying HIPAA‑compliant cloud infrastructure to spinning up Node.js backend services and React frontends
• Design and implement resilient integrations with dental insurance carriers and practice management systems
• Collaborate directly with our dental billers and clients to understand their challenges and come up with creative solutions to improve their workflows
• Take on ambiguous problems and shape the culture and best practices of our engineering team

• At least 5 years of software engineering development experience
• Proficiency in a web stack language (Typescript/Java script, Python, C#) with an openness to working in Typescript
• Experience designing and scaling databases such as Postgres
• Experience building infrastructure in a cloud provider like AWS or GCP
• A strong product mindset and high user empathy
• A high level of autonomy, ownership, and curiosity
• A low ego and willingness to admit mistakes and learn from them
