Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack; Web

The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.

The Engineering team at Monad Foundation builds software to facilitate the adoption of the Monad blockchain. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build high-quality web applications that integrate seamlessly with web3 technologies, working together with internal and external counterparts. The ideal candidate has a strong web3 full stack development background - building both frontends and smart contracts.

• You will design and build performant applications that involve blockchain interaction and blockchain data, contributing to both the frontend and the backend

• You will build dashboards that showcase network activity and popular applications

• You will build SDKs to make it easier for developers to interact with the blockchain

• You will build interfaces that make it easy for new users to onboard to Monad.

• You have 4 years of experience as a full stack engineer

• You have 2 years of experience at a web3 company

• You have 2 years of smart contract development experience

• You are expert in JavaScript/Type Script, React/Next.js (or similar frameworks like Svelte/Svelte Kit)

• You have experience with wallet connectors, indexers, and the Ethereum transaction lifecycle along with related Web3 APIs (e.g. web
  3.js)

• You have experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB).

• You have experience working closely with design and developer teams to build applications that enhance user and developer experience.

• You have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
