Software Engineer, C++ Developer

As a Software Engineer at HRT, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining the critical technology and infrastructure that drives their trading operations. The code you write will directly impact their success.

• Full-time undergraduate student in computer science or a related field graduating in 2025.
• Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with UNIX operating systems (specifically Linux), system/processor performance, and network communication.
• Interest in low-level architecture, logic design, and/or verification is a plus.

• Passionate about coding, enjoys challenges, and thrives in collaborative environments.
• Curiosity for all things computer-related and enjoys tinkering and exploring new technologies.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, quickly analyzing and fixing problems.
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain software designs at various levels of detail.

• Annual base salary range of $175,000 to $250,000.
• Sign-on and discretionary performance bonus.
