• Architect and build core UI components and libraries for the employer's Design System
• Collaborate with design, product, and frontend teams to ensure components meet both functional and aesthetic requirements
• Maintain high standards of performance and maintainability for all components
• Mentor and coach engineers on best practices for component development and technical decisions
• Contribute to the overall vision and roadmap of the Design System

• Significant experience in building and scaling shared UI/UX/Web components or design system libraries
• Strong technical skills with React, Java script, and Typescript
• Experience working on Design System initiatives or as part of a Design System team
• Several years of frontend experience with a traditional Application Development background
• Fundamental understanding of software development principles, including CI/CD and testing strategies

• Experience with architectural reviews and establishing best practices
• Passion for participating in code reviews
• Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with stakeholders
