We are seeking gifted, full‑stack software engineers to help support and grow our financial platform offerings. This is a significant opportunity to be a founding member of a growing team and help shape the way we develop, deploy, and operate production‑quality systems. In this role, your work will make a significant impact on our customers, stakeholders, and ability to continue to scale.

Our engineers love building products, emphasizing efficiency and developer happiness. We deploy at‑will, many times a day, coordinated via Slack, Git Hub, and Linear. As a remote‑friendly team, we will always prefer asynchronous processes. As a result, our morning standup is the only recurring meeting and we Write Things Down™.

Through collaboration, we prioritize the best answer — regardless who comes up with it — and believe “done” is better than “perfect.”

We want to work with curious, self‑motivated engineers who enjoy learning new technologies. We’re just getting started creating our platform, so you’ll have the ability to be involved designing and building from the ground up. We anticipate using technologies like NextJS with Graph

QL/Relay on the frontend and having a backend composed of languages like Elixir/Phoenix, Go, Python, and NodeJS. Our core systems store data in Postgre

SQL. We deploy on Google Cloud, provisioned through Terraform.

• Leverage Type Script+React, Relay, and Graph
  
  QL to build beautiful user interfaces and experiences.
• Expand and maintain our backend services, a mix of Elixir/Phoenix, Go, Python, and NodeJS, running on cloud‑based serverless technologies.
• Create and refine automated AI agent systems written in Python.
• Support existing products and features, while helping design and build new ones.
• Collaborate regularly with other stakeholders and partners to solicit requirements, seek feedback, and provide updates.

Candidates do not need prior experience with any specific technology – we are looking for candidates who are excited to learn new frameworks. That said, a strong understanding of Java script and modern browser technology and experience building for the web (HTTP, how cookies work, CSP, CORS, etc.) is needed.

• Experience building full stack web applications (ideally for at least 10 years, given the seniority of the position)
• Strong understanding of modern browser technology and experience building for the web (HTTP, how cookies work, CSP, CORS, etc.)
• Strong relational database fundamentals
• Demonstrable proficiency and a track record of professional success coding in at least two programming languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment where engineers are expected not only to build great technology, but also to define project vision, specify technical strategy, and always be learning
• Experience presenting to audiences and communicating effectively and empathetically with clients and other stakeholders
