You will join the Identity team within our Platform organization. The team owns all authentication and authorization logic across the Weights & Biases platform, including user management, organization management, and service account management. You’ll integrate with multiple OIDC providers, support SSO across diverse deployment models, and serve both our multi‑tenant and on‑premise single‑tenant environments.

• Play a key role in evolving our identity infrastructure for a growing customer base.
• Build new product features, contribute to restructuring our identity systems into a dedicated service, and implement critical security capabilities.
• Work on role‑based access controls, SCIM integrations, service account functionality, and support multiple deployment environments.
• Primarily a backend focus: 80% Go, 20% Type Script/React, across multi‑tenant and single‑tenant architectures, and occasionally debug customer issues across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go for backend development.
• Experience with Type Script and React for frontend development.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL databases such as MySQL.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain production systems.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization.
• Comfortable working in distributed systems environments.
• Focus on writing clean, well‑tested, maintainable code.
• Excellent code organization and software architecture skills.

• Experience with authentication and authorization systems such as OIDC, SSO, OAuth.
• Familiarity with identity providers like Auth0, Okta, Ping Federate, or Microsoft Entra.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with GCP services such as Big Table and Pub Sub.
• Working knowledge of Redis and caching strategies.
• Background in security‑oriented development practices.
• Experience supporting multi‑tenant architectures.
• Familiarity with RBAC, SCIM, or other identity management protocols.
• Previous work on developer tools or platforms that serve technical users.

The base salary for this role ranges from $109,000 to $160,000. Commencing salary will be determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, we offer a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
