Senior Software Engineer, AI Agents

Asha Health is building the future of self-learning for healthcare generative AI. We're backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, 186 Ventures, Reach Capital and many more. Our team includes AI product leaders from companies like Google, physician executives from major health systems, and more.

We're looking for an insanely cracked engineer to join our engineering team. We're looking for someone who is an all-rounder, but has particularly exceptional backend engineering skills. Our ideal candidate has built AI agents and leveraged clever engineering techniques to improve latency & reliability for complex workflows.

This role will be in person working with the 2 founders 6 days per week, so safe to say you will get close. If you are a go-getter and have the intensity it takes to win, this role could be for you. If this does not align with your current goals it may not be the best fit and we would recommend you do not apply.

The cash compensation for this role ranges between $180,000 - $230,000.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build state-of-the-art AI agents across several modalities. You will be horizontal across our engineering team, experimenting and implementing novel AI/ML techniques to improve performance and reliability of various AI agents.

• Graduated with a bachelors in computer science or related degree.
• Worked at an early stage startup (Seed - Series B) before.
• Experience building AI agents before with a high degree for reliability (we will ask you to impress us with the clever backend engineering techniques you've used).
• Must be ready to work in person in Manhattan, New York 5 days per week in person but 6 days per week total.

• Built and scaled your own projects to significant revenue.
• Understanding of US healthcare/health-tech.
