About the Role
Our client, a global corporate and investment bank, is looking for a techno-functional Oracle E-Business Suite expert to join a business-line IT project team. You’ll own design and development on Oracle EBS R12 General Ledger and Accounts Payable, with deep work in PL/SQL, BI Publisher and interfaces, and you’ll be the person who turns user requirements into working solutions.
The core of the work is a critical project integrating a third-party procurement platform with Oracle EBS, with design, development and testing of the upstream and downstream interfaces. Alongside it you’ll design, build, test, document and implement system enhancements, working with a globally distributed team and leading offshore developers.
If you’ve spent a decade writing the PL/SQL, interfaces and BI Publisher reports behind GL and AP, not only configuring them, this is that role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test upstream and downstream interfaces between a procurement system and Oracle EBS
- Gather requirements with end users, run workshops, and produce requirements and design documents
- Develop in PL/SQL and BI Publisher across Oracle EBS General Ledger and Accounts Payable
- Perform solution design, development and data validation on Oracle EBS, including payments
- Develop test scenarios and support unit testing and user acceptance testing
- Package and release code into production
- Coordinate and manage offshore development team members
- Design, build, document and implement system enhancements to meet business requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of development experience with Oracle R12 E-Business Suite, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable and their interfaces
- Strong development experience with BI Publisher and PL/SQL
- End-to-end process knowledge of Oracle EBS GL and AP, including payments
- Oracle data warehouse and data mart development using PL/SQL and Unix
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and managing offshore teams
- Full understanding of the SDLC, including releasing code to production
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical staff
- Self-sufficient, proactive and a strong independent troubleshooter
- This role requires the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- W2 only — no C2C or third-party candidates.
