Our client is a rapidly growing fashion and lifestyle brand with retail locations across the country. This newly created role will take ownership of the month-end close, support inventory accounting, and drive financial reporting accuracy in a fast-paced Net Suite ERP environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, experience in retail, and the ability to turn data into insights using tools like Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.

• Lead and execute the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile inventory balances, including COGS, shrink, and inventory valuation adjustments
• Use Net Suite ERP to manage core accounting functions such as AP/AR, GL, and financial reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and merchandising teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting and cost tracking
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and key performance indicators
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (GAAP)
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability of accounting operations

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or CPG environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Net Suite ERP is a big PLUS
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, including physical counts, costing, and reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, index/match, lookups, macros); experience with Power Query and Power BI preferred
