Senior Tax Accountant
White Cap Search is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our accounting & finance team. The Senior Accountant will provide expertise on complex tax matters, audit, and financial statement preparation across diverse clients. This role involves managing multiple engagements, coordinating with audit teams, and providing leadership for junior staff.
Job Functions- Assist in planning and executing client engagements.
- Perform and support audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements; assess and review internal controls. Assist with tax closings and related financial documentation.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day engagement activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap‑up.
- Manage information flow between clients and the audit team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Work on multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Communicate engagement progress and findings with Managers and Partners.
- 5+ years of audit experience, preferably from a commercial CPA firm.
Additional hours during tax season or time‑sensitive engagements are expected.
