Senior Tax Manager

Overview

Our client, a dynamic public accounting firm with offices in New Jersey and New York, is looking to add a Tax Senior Manager with expertise in Consumer Products to their team.

• Lead and manage tax engagements for clients primarily in the Consumer Products industry
• Review federal, state, and local income tax filings for businesses and C-corporations
• Advise clients on complex tax matters including inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, state and local tax nexus, and multi-state filing requirements
• Conduct tax research and provide clients with recommendations and strategic tax planning opportunities
• Manage and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants to ensure engagement deadlines and quality standards are met
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to maintain strong relationships and proactively address client needs
• Collaborate with Partners to support business development and identify new opportunities within the Consumer Products vertical
• Stay current on changes in tax regulations and industry trends that may impact clients
