• Oversee cash reconciliation and maintain accurate general ledger activity, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely, accurate transaction posting.
• Support monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, allocations, bank accounts), financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile sales activity reports and manage prepaid/accrual schedules with proper documentation while delivering ad hoc reports and supporting special projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial reporting accuracy and enhance overall accounting efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant experience; strong analytical skills, high accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Sage X3/100/500 preferred).
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and communicate across diverse teams; bilingual English–Spanish a plus.
• Preferred:
  Experience in the food industry, ability to travel to all Citarella locations, and reliable commutability.
