We are a private company, United Cabs, seeking a full‑time Controller to lead the accounting team on site in Bethpage, NY. You will report directly to the President. This is a direct‑hire position.

• Oversee accounting staff and day‑to‑day functions (AR, AP, GL, reconciliations, etc.)
• Orchestrate the close process (month, quarter, year‑end).
• Financial reporting and analysis.
• Internal controls.
• Achieve efficiencies and strive to maximize profits.
• Liason with Operations staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Knowledge of WIP and Cost Accounting.
• Technology expertise, including Excel and accounting systems such as Quick Books.
• Confident leader. Teamwork attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Preferably having industry experience with Construction or Manufacturing.
