Quality Control Senior Manager

Skills - Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
• Active US CPA License
• 5 years of experience of public accounting, Audit Planning & Execution, financial statement audits & SAARS engagements in US CPA firm
• GAAP, GAAS, SSAR's, SSAE's and Statutory Accounting Principles
• IFRS, SEC and PCAOB auditing standards
• Review client attest engagements, which include planning, executing, directing, and reviewing financial statements within a CPA firm in USA
• Client Advisory Services within a CPA firm in USA
• Experience auditing any 3 or more from these industry clients:
  Manufacturing & Wholesale, Entertainment, Government Auditing / Single Audit, HUD Audits, Financial Services / Broker-Dealers, CIRA (Common Interest Realty Associations), Nonprofit Accounting, Employee Benefit Plans (EBP Audits, Real Estate, Construction

• This position is remote with up to 15% travel based on the needs of the clients and business. Candidates must be based in the U.S.
• Review client attest engagements, which include planning, executing, directing, and reviewing financial statements
• Assist with Internal Inspections on an annual basis
• Stay up to date on generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement presentation
• Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques
• Assist with various training projects provided during the year
• Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns on the attest process
• Research and analyze financial statements and related attest issues
• Develop a network of potential referral sources and identify opportunities to sell additional Prager Metis services
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary

• Minimum Education Requirement
  - Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or comparable subject
• Master's Degree highly preferred
• CPA License required
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience of public accounting, financial statement audits & SAARS engagements
• A thorough understanding of GAAP, GAAS, SSAR's, SSAE's and Statutory Accounting Principles
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to meet deadlines and work on time sensitive engagements
• Knowledge of SEC and PCAOB auditing standards a plus
