Senior Accounting Manager – Consolidations

Location: New York, NY 10036

Duration: 6+ months of contract with possible extension

Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Responsible for managing monthly and quarterly financial consolidation activities, preparing consolidation adjustments, ensuring data integrity, and supporting financial reporting and audit processes.

• Lead monthly/quarterly close and consolidation processes for multiple entities.
• Prepare consolidating journal entries, including intercompany eliminations.
• Analyze financial submissions and perform roll forward and validation reviews.
• Maintain chart of accounts accuracy, FCC metadata, and reporting integrity.
• Prepare key analyses such as Gross Profit, APIC, and retained earnings.
• Support preparation of quarterly Financial Actuals Book and assist with 10-Q/10-K proofing.
• Work with external auditors on quarterly/year-end audit requirements.
• Provide financial analysis, commentary, and support ad hoc management requests.
• Maintain consolidation task tracker and ensure data quality across systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA required.
• 3–6 years of relevant accounting and consolidation experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting cycles, audit processes, and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities; self-starter with high attention to detail.
• Experience with Oracle FCC and/or SAP is a plus.
