Senior Accountant

TOPTICA Photonics is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our financial operations, month-end close, payroll activities, and benefits administration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on accounting in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and wants to grow with a technology-driven company.

• Lead monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts; reconcile bank accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit card/expense report audits.
• Manage weekly payroll processing, review wages, deductions, and benefit changes.
• Coordinate employee benefits updates, open enrollment tasks, and payroll liability reconciliations.
• Prepare sales tax filings and support fixed asset and prepaid schedules.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting support, and audit preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Paycor) and benefits administration preferred.
• Strong accuracy, organization, and ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Navision (NAV) or similar ERP
