Title: Freelance Accounting Specialist

Location: New York, NY
Duration: 6 months, potential of extension
Base pay range$30.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Responsibilities- Reconcile customer payments and ensure accounts are updated accurately.
- Review aging reports and follow up with customers on outstanding balances.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status and account issues.
- Resolve simple discrepancies or questions related to customer accounts.
- Maintain organized AR records and provide documentation as needed.
- 3–5 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Quick Books)
- Strong ability to reconcile payments and review account activity for accuracy.
- Proficient in Excel, accounting software, and Microsoft Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
