Overview
Global Renewable Energy Company looking to add a Staff Accountant - Global Energy role at White Cap Search
. This role will be involved in transactions, job costing, and much more complex accounting topics.
$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities
- Maintain accurate job cost information working closely with project managers on job cost analysis, reporting, and identify issues or discrepancies.
- Manage project companies expenses, accruals, account reconciliations, deposits, contracts, capitalization implementation on policy, leases, debt, and investment in subsidiaries.
- Review and confirm approval of all project related expenses.
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end and annual financial reporting packages for projects managed.
- Proactively work on initiatives to implement operational accounting efficiencies through process improvements and control enhancements.
- Develop and enforce effective and efficient internal controls to maximize protection of company assets and financial reporting policies, procedures, and workflow.
- Read and evaluate Project Contracts including multi-element deliverables to prepare monthly reports ensuring the compliance with ASC 815 Fair Value and ASC
842 Lease Accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting
- 2-5 years of experience
- Public Accounting Experience Required, Big 4 Experience a Plus
- Highly skilled in accounting related software and Microsoft Office
