Job SummaryA nonprofit located in Brooklyn, NY is looking to add multiple VITA Tax Preparers for this upcoming tax season on a temporary basis. They are targeting bilingual speakers with English and either Spanish or Chinese. These prepares will help their community members with individual tax filings for 2025. In order to be considered for this position, all candidates must complete the IRS tax certification online and provide their certification certificate.
Great opportunity for the tax season starting January 26th to give back to the community, earn a little money and stay busy.
• Assist community members with individual tax filings for the 2025 tax season.
• Provide accurate and timely tax preparation services in accordance with IRS guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients in English and Spanish or Chinese, ensuring clarity and confidentiality.
• Verify client information and documentation, and prepare tax returns for electronic filing.
- HS Diploma
- Must have completed the IRS tax certification
- Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (and English)
