Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeping professional with deep expertise in Quick Books? We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Assistant Bookkeeper to manage critical financial cleanup and reconciliation tasks. This is a highly focused role with consistent hours, perfect for someone looking for flexibility and consistent, specialized work.
The Details:
Flexible Schedule & Focus
Schedule:
Approximately 15 hours per week, consistently scheduled across Tuesdays and Thursdays.Location:
In OfficeCompensation: $20/hr.
Your Core Responsibilities
You will be the primary resource for improving the accuracy and cleanliness of our financial records. Your duties will be 100% focused on Quick Books and related financial management:
Quick Books Cleanup:
Conduct a meticulous cleanup of customer ledgers, ensuring all pertinent customer and financial information is checked, verified, and accurately inserted.Collections:
Strategically call and follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely collections.Reconciliation:
Perform comprehensive bank reconciliation and reconcile complex data discrepancies between statements and internal spreadsheets.A/P & A/R Management:
Actively manage accounts payable and receivable functions, specifically handling platforms like Turbo Tenant and Azibo.Communication:
Maintain clear, proactive, and detailed communication with our lead bookkeeper to ensure all tasks are prioritized and accomplished accurately and on deadline.
What We're Looking For (Your Profile)
The ideal candidate is highly independent and possesses specific financial skills:
Quick Books Proficiency is a MUST:
Proven, deep working knowledge of the Quick Books platform.Experience:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles, preferably in a corporate or focused small business environment.Technical Acumen:
Basic understanding of small business income/expense categories and financial record maintenance.Soft Skills:
Must be Detail-Oriented, Organized, and Deadline Driven.Independence:
Ability to work independently, manage your 15 hours efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
