This role sits within a high-performing finance leadership team and carries broad influence across technical accounting, deal activity, and enterprise-wide initiatives – with a particular emphasis on insurance liabilities and reserves.### ###
** Key Accountabilities
*** Leadership of accounting policy interpretation and implementation for insurance assets and liabilities
* Ownership of technical guidance, policy documentation, and internal advisory support
* Evaluation of accounting implications for M&A, reinsurance, and complex transactions
* Collaboration on new product structures and evolving liability frameworks
* Preparation of technical memos for senior leadership and external auditors
* Support of quarterly results reviews, reserve analysis, and statutory/GAAP reporting
* Contribution to systems, process, and reporting enhancements###
** Required Background
*** Extensive experience in insurance GAAP and statutory accounting
* CPA qualification with a strong technical accounting foundation
* Track record of advising on complex transactions and accounting judgments
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, credible communication
* Highly analytical, proactive, and commercially aware
