The Role
Fluidstack is seeking a Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable & Billing to strengthen our accounting operations as we enter our IPO readiness phase. This role will own the end‑to‑end AR process—including billing, cash application, collections, and audit support—and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and internal finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Own the customer billing process from contract review to invoice issuance in Net Suite.
- Manage AR aging, collections, and customer payment reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Finance and Sales to ensure accurate revenue cut‑off and billing schedules.
- Support monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes.
- Assist with audit requests, providing schedules, supporting documentation, and account analyses.
- Maintain customer master data, billing policies, and internal control documentation.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to improve billing accuracy and timeliness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA‑track preferred.
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience in a SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and AR processes.
- Experience with Net Suite and billing sub‑ledgers is a plus.
- Proven track record managing collections and working with auditors under tight deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $135,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
