Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
  • Work on a variety of clients ranging in size, industry, and complexity — including manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and other commercial sectors.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards.
  • Assist with engagement budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
  • Review the work of staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
  • Ensure engagement manager and partner is updated timely on all aspects of the engagement.
  • Perform technical research as required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, demonstrating exceptional service and professionalism.
  • Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and apply knowledge to engagements.
  • Proactively participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required.
  • 3+ years progressive auditing experience in public accounting required.
  • CPA license or working toward CPA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience working with clients of varying sizes and industries.
  • Ability to oversee various engagements and staff members simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions and recommendations in client related matters pertaining to the audit.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite. Knowledge of audit software PFX Engagement preferred.
  • Must be able to travel locally to clients when required.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
