We’re seeking a detail-oriented, hands‑on Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting with deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and corporate close processes to join our finance team on an interim basis with potential for long term. This is a high‑impact role ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a strong foundation in technical accounting and financial reporting.

This position will play a critical role in guiding the organization through complex technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, and CECL. The ideal candidate is a CPA with at least five years of technical accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a background in financial reporting and accounting research. This is a hands‑on opportunity for a self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments and is ready to make an immediate impact.

• Monitor and interpret new accounting standards issued by regulatory bodies such as the FASB, IASB, and SEC, assessing their impact on financial reporting.
• Oversee critical components of the corporate close process, collaborating with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely adjustments in specialized accounting areas. Conduct month‑end close activities, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Draft detailed technical accounting memoranda and internal policy documentation.
• Lead and participate in training sessions to communicate accounting policy updates across business units. Support the coordination of annual audit activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Compile monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and lenders. Generate reports from consolidation and general ledger systems to support financial analysis and decision‑making.
• Advise leadership on the accounting implications of strategic transactions, including acquisitions and other significant business developments. Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Masters preferred)
• CPA required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 5+ years Technical Accounting (CECL, Leases, Rev Rec, Business combinations)
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Excel (v‑lookups and pivot tables)
• Work requires initiative and the ability to analyze complex accounting documents to improve processes and reporting where results have monetary impact.
