Annual Bonus

A prominent real estate developer, owner, and property manager is seeking a Property Accountant to join their dynamic team. Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within a well-established real estate firm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly closing of books and records, including overseeing reconciliation of operating and tenant security bank accounts.
• Analyze and reconcile ledger accounts for the portfolio.
• Monitor and record payment of property taxes.
• Record year-end journal entries and compile audit and tax work‑papers to facilitate preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns.
• Participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets.
• Ensure timely deposit of funds and remittance of payments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience within real estate.
• Proficiency working with Yardi software required.
• Proficient working knowledge of MS Excel.
