This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost accounting functions, analyzing costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting processes, cost allocation, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, preparation of cost forecasts and budget, financial analysis, and cost audits.
• Performing account reconciliations on all variance accounts
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review and analyze monthly variances for actual costs of sales, budgets, sales and operations planning forecasts in collaboration with business partners.
• Assist with audits and reporting related to raw materials cost and inventory valuations
• Stay updated on changes in cost accounting standards and best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a cost accountant in a manufacturing environment required.
• Inventory and financial reporting with adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls experience
• Knowledge of industry-specific cost factors, such as production and inventory management.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving, project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
