Base Pay Range

$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Long Island City, NY - Accounts Receivable Clerk (temp-to-hire). This role supports daily AR functions, including payment posting, reconciliations, and collections outreach. The position is fully on-site, offers a 35‑hour workweek, and provides a stable opportunity for someone with strong math and Excel skills looking to grow within a supportive environment.

• Post physical checks into the accounting system on a daily basis.
• Make collection calls to follow up on outstanding or due payments.
• Reconcile daily postings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and update financial records as needed.
• Assist with general AR and accounting clerk duties as required.
• Communicate with internal staff and external contacts regarding payment status.
• Support the team with additional administrative or accounting tasks.

• Some experience in accounting clerk or accounts receivable functions.
• Strong math skills with high attention to numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas and data entry.
