Corporate Accounting & Reporting Manager

Nine Dot Energy is seeking a Corporate Accounting and Reporting Manager to manage the company’s corporate accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the overall financial health of the organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s corporate accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements accurately and in a timely manner, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and stay updated on changes in accounting regulations.

• Coordinate and support external audits, prepare audit schedules, and respond to auditor inquiries.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corporate accountants and provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting.

• 2+ years of management experience with direct reports.

• Big 4 Accounting or Regional Accounting firm experience preferred.

• SAP S/4 Hana or similar ERP accounting systems experience is a plus.
