Junior Accountant

Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $68,000.00/yr

About the Company:

We are a well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role offers exposure to the full accounting cycle and the opportunity to contribute to accurate financial reporting in a dynamic environment.

• Perform daily accounting tasks with a focus on debts and credits, prepaids, and accruals
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately and timely
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Partner with the Accounts Payable team to ensure proper expense recognition and coding
• Assist with audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in Accounts Payable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
