Atlantic Group is hiring! Step into a key role as a Senior Accountant at our client’s top Financial Services Firm in New York City
. This long‑term project involves high‑level accounting support, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

• Month/Quarter End Processes: Assist with journal entries, transaction reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare timely and accurate audited financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Management Reporting: Support quarterly management reporting, including variance and trend analysis.
• Fixed Asset Register Maintenance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Collaborate with the Financial Controller on various projects to support financial operations.
• Departmental Coordination: Gather necessary information for financial reporting from various departments.
• Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy in all financial documents and reports.

• CPA Certification: CPA with 5+ years post‑qualification experience in a multi‑currency Financial Services environment.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• US GAAP Proficiency: Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in US GAAP.
• Detail‑Oriented: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self‑Motivated: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (ERP systems experience is a plus).
