Effy Jewelry is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our Retail Division. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, Effy Jewelry is dedicated to maintaining strong financial processes and ensuring the efficient management of accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding and approval.
• Prepare and process payments through checks, electronic transfers, and other methods.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.

• Generate customer invoices and statements promptly and accurately.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
• Apply payments received to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available for payments.
• Prepare and maintain cash forecasts to support business operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Provide analysis and insights into payment trends, aging balances, and cash flow projections.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment on payment terms and resolve any payment-related discrepancies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
