Staff Accountant

Compensation: $66.3-80k

We are currently looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join our growing fast paced accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, adaptable, and be able to multi-task. Looking for an ambitious self-starter with great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

• General Ledger reconciliations and expense analysis
• Bank Reconciliations
• Journal Entry Preparation
• Participate in month end closings
• Royalty reporting
• Commission analysis
• Customer and product line profitability studies
• Assist in audit work and support
• Assist month-end accruals and prepaid schedules
• Inventory analysis for slow moving product as well as monthly warehouse discrepancy follow-up
• Monthly Cutoff analysis to ensure proper period reporting
• Prepare Ad-hoc and value-added analyses as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA a plus but not required)
• +1-3 years Accounting experience in private industry /public accounting-consumer products a plus
• Prior experience working with Importers and multiple brands/companies a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with financial (Peachtree/Quickbooks/Lawson a plus) and ERP Systems (Infor a plus)
• Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills
