What Will You Be Part Of?

You’ll also be part of Finsmart’s scalable and flexible accounting ecosystem, providing clients access to expert talent while giving you the autonomy to work independently with clients. You’ll collaborate directly with highly qualified professionals (CPAs, CMAs, CAs, ACCAs) and report straight to the founder, making a tangible impact on client success, team growth, and business operations.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking a dynamic Team Lead – U.S. Accounting who blends technical expertise with strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have fluent English communication, both written and spoken, to confidently manage international clients, along with experience handling U.S.

-based clients. You should bring prior team management experience, leading at least 2 members, and possess strong knowledge of U.S. accounting processes with hands‑on experience in Quick Books Online / Xero, US G.A.A.P. The role requires someone who can effectively manage multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and client satisfaction, while also being client‑focused, detail‑oriented, and proactive. As a Team Lead, you will manage a portfolio of 5–10 U.S.

-based clients, ensuring satisfaction, resolving escalations, and identifying opportunities for further business. On the team side, you’ll lead 8–10 members, including Bookkeepers, U.S. Accountants, and Senior U.S. Accountants, ensuring accurate work allocation, timely delivery, and continuous skill development through guidance, SOPs, and training resources. What’s the Schedule Like?

This is a full-time, permanent role, work from office based in Pune. Your schedule runs from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, giving you weekends off to rest, recharge, and focus on personal interests.

• Fluent written and verbal English communication is a must
• Exposure of handling overseas clients is a must
• Prior experience of handling team of 2 members is necessary
• Ability and willingness to handle multiple clients is necessary
• Good knowledge of US Accounting process is necessary

B.Com or M.Com or CA Inter or CA or MBA or ICWA

5 Years or more in core US Accounting process or similar domain is a must. Good working knowledge of US Accounting, Month closing and reports.
