Our client is a non-profit organization. They seek a temp Senior Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate regulatory filings
- Complete reconciliations
- Ensure integrity of financial results
- Calculate corporate budgets
- Assist with government contracts and grants
- Assist in audits and account analysis
- Develop working papers and schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Non-profit industry background preferred
- Strong GL and journal entry experience
- CPA strongly preferred
- Skilled in Lawson Financial Systems
