Director of Accounting – Fin Tech
Join White Cap Search to apply for the Director of Accounting – Fin Tech role. Our client, a business funding firm, is seeking a Director of Accounting to join their team in Manhattan, NY. In this hybrid role, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, lead month‑end and year‑end close processes and manage compliance with regulatory requirements.
Base pay range
: $120,000 – $240,000 per year (actual pay based on experience).
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes for the management company and lending vehicles.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely investor reporting, capital‑account statements and NAV calculations.
- Manage the year‑end audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee preparation and review of tax returns and K‑1s with third‑party tax advisors.
- Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and performance analysis.
- Assist in debt‑facility reporting, covenant compliance and treasury operations.
- CPA required.
- 10 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and lending.
- Knowledge of GAAP and tax concepts related to partnerships.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Investran, Allvue, Quick Books or Net Suite.
- Strong knowledge of Quick Books.
