Senior Manager – Consolidation & Post‑Acquisition Integration

Location: New York, NY

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to lead consolidation and post‑acquisition integration efforts, reporting directly to the VP & GM of Accounting. This role will oversee accounting due diligence, purchase price allocations, and Day 1 integration planning, while ensuring smooth transitions of acquired entities into consolidated reporting processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic accounting professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for process improvement.

• Lead accounting due diligence, review agreements, and manage purchase price allocations (ASC 805).
• Drive end‑to‑end integration activities, harmonize accounting policies, and ensure compliant close processes.
• Oversee journal entries, reporting, and internal controls for acquired entities.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to standardize and scale integration procedures across future acquisitions.
• Research and document complex accounting issues, including business combinations and revenue recognition.

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and private industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and hands‑on ASC 805 experience.
• Proven track record with post‑acquisition integrations.
• Advanced Excel and large data set experience; multi‑entity/global exposure a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
