Accounting Manager; Accounts Payable

A well-known national holding company, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. The responsibilities of this role include overseeing all accounting functions, handling month-end close, managing Accounts Payable, and organizing accounting data from multiple business lines. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in corporate accounting at a large public company, knowledge of Net Suite, and previous management/employee oversight experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Month-end, quarter-end and annual close process for the corporate and investment level accounting, including the review of underlying models, significant accruals, journal entries, consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, equity statement and cash flow) and the CFO report
• Oversee/manage the audit process with external auditors
• Analyze monthly/quarterly results
• Review/analyze forward looking projections such as cash management and dividend coverage
• Prepare/review SEC reporting requirements (10-K/10-Q/GAAP checklist) in accordance with US GAAP

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Net Suite knowledge is a must
• At least 5 years of accounting experience
• Management experience is required
• Large public company experience is preferred

Compensation:

• $125,000 – $160,000
