Corporate Accountant, Senior

Currently seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to fill a senior-level position. The ideal candidate will hold an Accounting degree, preferably a CPA, possess 8+ years of experience in accounting, and be familiar with accounting software and programs. This position involves various aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, business planning, and financial analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare position papers, research and interpret FASB standards and SEC guidance, and ensure proper recording of transactions in the general ledger.
• Review daily accounting for the Company’s Debt and Preferred Equity Investment portfolio to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in preparing publicly filed documents (10-Ks/10-Qs and supplemental packages), including financial statements, footnote disclosures, and sections of MD&A.
• Assist in ad hoc analyses requested by management.
• Work effectively with team members to meet deadlines efficiently, accurately, and thoroughly.
• Communicate task status and project updates to management promptly.
• Present information, ideas, and recommendations clearly and concisely.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and programs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to execute tasks effectively.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with management.

Compensation:

• $85,000 – $105,000
