- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals while helping shape long-term finance operations.
- Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with program leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Work in a role that blends hands-on accounting leadership with high-level financial analysis and planning.
- Lead accounting operations including payroll, cash management, reconciliations, and disbursements.
- Manage monthly and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight.
- Oversee audits, regulatory filings, Form 990 support, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, forecasting, collections, and grant-related financial activities.
- Partner with leadership on board reporting, financial analysis, and decision support.
- Supervise finance staff and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level leadership.
- Strong nonprofit GAAP accounting knowledge.
- Experience with government contracts, grants management, and revenue recognition.
