BASIC FUNCTION:

The Income Auditor is responsible for auditing, reconciling, and reporting gaming and non-gaming revenue to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This position reviews daily financial activity across multiple revenue centers, including slot operations, cage operations, food and beverage, and other property revenue streams. The incumbent performs detailed audits of gaming systems, prepares daily revenue reports, supports month-end closing activities, and helps maintain strong internal controls in accordance with MICS, TICS, and SICS standards.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Obtain a sufficient understanding of all gaming and non-gaming audits.

Provides proper accounting and reporting of all gaming generated revenue, including slot machines, cages, table games, food and beverage and any other revenue areas.

Ensures daily packets are completed as required by the Month-End closing schedule.

Provide supervision required in MICS/TICS/SICS of daily revenue packets.

Audit back end gaming system and provide reports required to perform daily Slot Operations packets for Salamanca/Oil Spring/Irving facilities.

Ability to meet deadlines and focus on accuracy and details.

Ensures proper authorization signatures for all transactions.

Provide support and problem-solving skills when audit issues arise.

Maintain exception reports after signatures received for review by internal/external auditors.

Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required.

Operates office machines such as calculators, computer and copy machine.

Ensures accurate, timely, and relevant revenue figures are reconciled, audited, and posted for each gaming

Generates revenue and other special reports using all available reporting capabilities.

Participates in maintaining internal control documents.

Maintains necessary files and information for preparing reports and special assignments as may be requested.

Maintains a neat and orderly work area.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree in Accounting and/or two (2) years of practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Must possess excellent math skills. Must possess excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required. Must pass a background clearance in accordance with National Indian Gaming Commission Regulations.
