• Own accounts payable, vendor payments and payment inquiries.
• Handle customer invoicing and collections.
• Prepare wire transfers and cash-movement documentation for leadership approval.
• Maintain accurate financial records and systems across Shaper and its portfolio companies.
• Manage receipts and supporting documentation.
• Support payroll administration and equity issuance.
• Identify inefficient workflows and take ownership of practical improvements.
• Communicate issues clearly, prioritize appropriately and follow through without repeated reminders.

• Strong accounting fundamentals and demonstrated accuracy.
• Hands‑on ownership of financial workflows, with clear examples of work personally completed.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills; comfortable with accounting systems or ERP tools.
• Ability to work independently when procedures are incomplete or priorities change.
• Willingness to perform detailed, routine accounting work regardless of title.
• Clear communication, responsiveness and reliable follow-through.
• Curiosity, initiative and interest in learning broader responsibilities.
• Ability to move quickly while checking the quality of the work.
