Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: New York

Accounts Receivable Vaco is currently recruiting for an accounts receivable position in Northern KY. Compensation: $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience Work Arrangement:
Onsite

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities Prepare and process customer billing Review purchase orders to ensure all required information is available for billing Work with Project Managers to obtain missing or necessary documentation Review accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances Make collection calls and send collection emails as needed Monitor customer accounts and help resolve billing issues Perform general administrative and accounting support as needed Work with approximately seven Project Managers and effectively manage competing priorities Shift between tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Qualifications Previous Accounts Receivable experience required Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred Experience working with Purchase Orders required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and customers Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines Ability to work independently while being part of a small, collaborative team
