Senior Accountant (CPA Required)

Location: Clarence, New York (In-Office)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $135,000

A Western New York-based technology company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our in-office team. The ideal candidate is a CPA and demonstrates advanced proficiency in Quick Books and Excel. In this full‑time, salaried role, you will be involved in key financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, nationwide tax compliance, year‑end financial preparation, regular internal reporting, and the management of internal controls.

• Financial Oversight: Manage the General Ledger and prepare regular financial reports to management.
• Quality Control: Oversee quality control of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), aging, collections, and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Tax & Compliance: Monthly sales tax on a nationwide scale and ensure overall financial compliance.
• Year‑End Preparation: Lead the preparation of year‑end financials for our external accounting firm.
• Internal Controls: Maintain, develop, and enforce internal accounting controls and policies.

• Certification: Being an active CPA in good standing is required
