Assurance Staff

RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax professionals and advisory specialists, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
- Prepare detailed audit work papers and maintain organized documentation to support audit findings and conclusions
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to enhance audit methodologies and techniques
- Pursue opportunities for professional growth, including obtaining relevant certifications and attending training sessions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification or current pursuit of certification
- Approximately 0-3 years experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to travel to client locations, predominantly Western New York clients
- A willingness to work in and contribute to a team environment
