Our client, a commercial real estate owner in Westchester County, New York, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for its tenant receivables function. The Bachrach Group is running the search.
What you will do- Apply daily tenant payments received by ACH, wire and lockbox; review third-party receipt batches
- Reconcile cash receipts; research and resolve unapplied or unidentified payments
- Monthly tenant statements, rent adjustment letters and tenant correspondence
- Billing and credit adjustments on tenant accounts
- Security deposit refund documentation; bounced check handling
- Tenant outreach on open balances
- Month-end close support on the receivables side
- One to three years of accounts receivable and cash application; real estate preferred
- Lease administration software such as MRI, JDE or Yardi
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities
Direct hire, primarily in office.
