Looking for a role where you can combine technical tax expertise with client advisory and team leadership?

A public accounting firm in Malta is seeking a Tax Manager to review personal and business tax work, build client relationships and help develop its tax team. The package includes reduced summer hours, generous PTO and a broad range of benefits and insurance options.

You’ll review federal and state income tax returns, supporting work papers, estimated payments and extensions. Alongside compliance, you’ll advise clients on tax projections and planning, lead tax research and prepare clear recommendations and responses to tax authorities.

You’ll also supervise and mentor colleagues, helping them strengthen their technical skills and deliver excellent client service.

• Four or more years of public accounting tax experience.
• CPA certification or significant progress towards completion.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation, GAAP and accounting procedures.
• Clear communication skills and confidence managing client relationships.

Experience with trust, estate and gift returns would be an advantage, as would familiarity with Thomson Reuters Business Suite.

Additional hours are required during peak tax periods, balanced with reduced summer hours.
