Our large corporate client is looking for a Sr Project Accountant.
This role ensures accurate tracking of project costs, accruals, and closing the month end. In addition, the supervisor/senior will focus on the growth and development of (1 maybe
2) direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Managing project accounting, including tracking costs of projects.
- Oversee accounting for asset mgmt, including review of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis to budgets.
- Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
- Help in the annual audit processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting as well as some Supervisory experience required.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience managing month-end close processes and preparing journal entries.
- Professional level experience with Excel.
- Must have larger corporate company experience
Salary range: 110-120K + bonus and excellent benefits
