LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Prestigious Real Estate and Development firm to fill a a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst on a permanent/direct hire basis. This role will sit in Midtown, NYC. This role will be responsible for managing tenant receivables, billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations across a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and prior real estate accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tenant billing, rent charges, and lease-related receivables.
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile tenant accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and lead collection efforts on outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Prepare AR analyses, reporting, and month-end reconciliations.
- Partner with Property Management, Leasing, and Accounting teams.
- Assist with CAM reconciliations, tenant recoveries, and annual true-ups.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably within commercial or residential real estate.
- Experience with tenant billing, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Real Page.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Schedule:
- 4-5 days per week in office
- 80 - 90k Annually + Bonus
